Have you ever been to a parent & toddler group before?
Sometimes going to a group feels like the most intimidating thing in the world!
And you can almost always guarantee you will be asked something along the lines of "who are you and what do you do?"
Well don't fear.. I'm not going to ask you to join a toddler group!
But let me introduce myself..
I'm Fran, a mam of two slightly feral girls (Dolcie & Dakota).
I had never heard of Spanish baby clothes before I was pregnant, in fact I was blissfully unaware that there was such a huge selection of baby clothes!
All that changed..
My husband and I love The Great Dorset Steam Fair, which is held annually. And I am always in awe of the stunning selection of stalls, and it's thanks to that fair that my obsession for baby and children's clothing started. I remember seeing children dressed immaculately in the most beautiful clothes (what I now know is Spanish clothes), and wanting it all for my unborn child.
That obsession turned into passion, and I always wanted to start my own business.
My girls were born 18 months apart, so with two children under the age of two my dreams of my own business were pushed to the bottom of the pile... while I changed nappies and muddled through what felt like madness!
But as we all know, children get older. Dolcie is now in school and Dakota starts school in September,
So I decided that it was about time I pulled my big girl knickers up and did something about my dream!
So in 2022 FD Luxury Childrens Wear was born, I want my girls to know that they can do anything they put their minds to and doubt kills more dreams than failure!
